We are located deep in the heart of pristine wilderness on the shores of Long Pond where our friendly and competant staff will do whatever it takes to ensure your hunt is the most enjoyable, relaxing and successful hunt ever.
The former president of Trophy Hunts Inc., Chief Biologist Gene Mercer (M.SC., Univ. Wisconsin), was with the Newfoundland and Labrador Government where for years was in charge of all research and management of wildlife in Newfoundland.
For 20 years he studied big game and published a number of scientific papers on ecology and wildlife management.
This experience and dedication played a large part in my decision to operate the outfitting business at this location.
Mr. Mercer will be visiting the lodge from time to time.
